Apocalypse Cultivator Series by Jack Bryce (3-4)

Overview: I was born in 1984. One of my earliest games was Exile III by Jeff Vogel (the indie developer OG, as far as I'm concerned). Ever since, I played RPGs--e.g. the Elder Scrolls series (especially Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim), Baldur's Gate, and a little bit of WoW (who hasn't, right?). A few more obscure titles (Dungeon Master II: The Legend of Skullkeep, anyone?) have a special place in my heart.

#3 - I fought to find my family. Now, I'll fight to keep them.
In a post-apocalyptic world plagued by mutants and raiders, safety is only an illusion. The question isn’t if trouble will find us, but when.
The other survivors reckon themselves safe and comfy. They consider me the troublemaker. But they’re blind. The clouds are gathering, and something terrible is breaching the veil to our dimension.
The war for Earth is about to enter its second phase.
#4 - The time to strike is now. I will brave the wastelands of the apocalypse and finally unveil my enemy.
Settlements and walls are all good, but no war is won by hiding. Sooner or later, our enemies will swarm us, and no shelter will protect us.
It will not come to that. Together with my family, I must strike out and venture into the post-apocalyptic wastelands to find the portal that leads to my enemy’s home.
There, I will unmask the vile fiend and learn the truth behind his invasion.
