One thing is certain: human beings will always like to play games. It’s as basic to our nature as curiosity, aggression, territoriality, or any of the other “primal urges” anthropologists like to tell us about. (Indeed, there’s an anthropological theory that all human knowledge started with the proto-hominids’ enjoyment of game-playing.)
