But Basilar's a big place, and waiting within its walls are dangerous criminals, scheming nobles, and a propagandized and paranoid populace, primed to perceive the ScaleGuard as public enemy number one! This mission is a whole lot more complicated than Gideon thought, and its stakes are so much higher than he could have ever imagined...
