But it really went downhill the minute I tried checking in with the crazy-powerful leader of the local witch coven. It went… well, it went. The stupidly-sexy grump tried to kick me out and I held my own and gave him a shiner. That’s making a good impression, right?
I expect him to toss me out like the trash he seems to think I am. But instead, he offers me a chance to prove myself.

Turns out this coven has a problem even the big, bad leader can’t solve. The kind of mess I’ve been trained to fix. The kind of mess my special skills might make a difference in figuring out. Too bad if anyone catches me using them, my biggest secret will be revealed and my head will be on the chopping block.
How much will it cost me if I fight for this chance at a home?
4. Unity Undercover - Beckett and I are getting along. I mean, for the most part. Better than we were, at least.
Okay, the man frustrates the heck out of me. But at least he’s helping me out with my security issues, so I won’t complain.

Well, I don’t really know Beckett’s middle name. I doubt anyone does, what with his insane paranoia.
But you know me, when adventure comes a’knockin’ – as it never fails to do – I’m ready to get rockin’.
Even if that adventure has a creep factor of ten, and eyes that wouldn’t even recognize my face with how often they’re focused south of my chin.
I don’t know a single person that would say I’m made for undercover work. But if I want to find the brainwasher and keep an entire coven safe, I’ll need to make subtlety my… female dog. Because no one else can do this job. Not even my irritatingly handsome cat-eleven.
Wait, did I say “my?” I meant… uh… I meant…
