Overview: I write Sci-Fi. I have been a voracious reader since I was a child, and Sci-Fi has been a prominent part of my literary diet. In my stories you will find a jumble of nuts-and-bolts science fiction, historical panorama, and religious speculation, seasoned with a certain amount of travelogue. Some of the details of temples, scenery, city life and wildlife I have seen with my own eyes, I have re-imagined into a distant future.

Lord Banshee: Fairy Dust (#1)
The Martian Imperium is coming.
Fifteen years ago, the unhappy people of Mars rose in a desperate fight to throw off the tyranny of the Governors sent from the Earth. The Terrestrial Council had given the Earth three centuries of the best government it had ever enjoyed, but that benevolence had not extended to Mars. Hidden behind censorship and secrecy, the Martian Governors had for over a century enforced policies of corruption, poverty, and savage injustice, always to their own profit.
The war that the Earth called the Martian Incursion, and that Mars called the First War for Liberation, had started with a nuclear attack that left two hundred million dead on the Earth. In a rage of vengeance, I became the Governor's most feared assassin, known everywhere by my code name Ghost. I had murdered anyone I was ordered to kill, or chose to, notorious crimes that grew with each telling but never came close to the true horror of my treachery. The Earth had crushed the rebellion, and everyone on Mars knew I was responsible. They just did not know who I was.
The Martian people had recovered. They had learned from their mistakes and would not repeat them. They remembered my crimes. The minimum price of peace with the Earth would be full independence for Mars, and Martian justice for me. They would hunt me down and execute me, along with all the Ghost Followers, anyone who had ever worked for me or with me.
They would kill the woman I loved more than life itself.
Lord Banshee: Fugitive (#2)
The Martian Imperium has launched the attack I have feared for years. We are on the run, fugitives in a broken battleship. As the chaos spreads, my team of Banshees struggle desperately to prevent a war for which the enemy is well prepared, and we are not.
My forebodings are so dark, it is hard to get anyone to take them seriously. Imperial assassins must already be hunting for the Ghost. They will kill anyone close to me. My team has barely gelled, yet already we must seek shelter. Is there anywhere in human space we can hide?
I know so much but cannot speak of it without triggering screaming fits. I fear myself and my internal rivalries almost as much as I fear the Martians. My personal flaws threaten the entire team, and no one more than Leilani, who will be tortured to death as the Ghost Wife if I fail. To save her, I must first save myself.
I remain convinced that we can win, but it will require unconventional tactics. Unconventional is what I do best.
Lord Banshee: Subversive (#4)
It is the year 2357 and the Martian Imperium has invaded the Earth.
Viceroy Wolong and his advisors are destroying the Earth through incompetence and brutality. To help correct the problems, I must pass through the earth stations to reach the Earth. I must evade their intelligence services, ride a shuttle to the surface, and walk past the immigration control officers without being recognized.
Simple, if I were still the Ghost on Mars with all the power of the Spooks at my disposal. Not so simple for a fugitive barely able to walk. Not simple while the conspiracy we call the Exterminators are committing atrocities at random, enraging everyone into an unstoppable cycle of violence and revenge that will be fought with nuclear weapons.
The Martian Imperium believes that I command the conspiracy. In their desperation, they have issued a kill-on-capture order to stop me at any cost. Dying would be simple, but disastrous. The Imperium is an unstable tyranny and the Succession War to replace the current Emperor will drive humanity into extinction.
I know how to prevent that war, how to heal the factional hatreds. I must survive long enough to complete that Mission.
I must get past the earth stations alive.
