A journey this assassin isn’t ready for…
His best friend is dying an agonizing death. The love of his life has shut herself off from him. His parents once thought dead, are actually alive. The ancient evil that terrorized his young life has been reawakened.
Esh makes the daring decision to journey across the dangerous skies over the Endless Sea towards the Fifth Territory of Auroth where he hopes to find answers. There, he will be met with an entirely new race, a race of perfection. It is here he learns of a new form of powerful sorcery, the Radiance. Only with this power can Barish be saved.
However, Esh’s plan comes to a halt when he discovers that the source of this power, the Lambent Heart, has been stolen and the remaining energy has all but been used to heal those harmed in the violent ransacking.
Not only does the fate of his best friend lie on his shoulders, but now so do the souls of an entire civilization. As Esh turns his attention to tracking down the Lambent Heart, his own heart sinks for that of which he seeks lies in the chest of a seven-hundred-foot monster. And it’s headed his way.
Spawn of an Assassin (#3)
The Wisp Blade calls to him... and he answers.
Seventeen years have passed and turmoil has reached its peak in the land of the Five Territories. Esh now resides as King of the Blue Territory of Ballahran with Queen Dashine by his side. Between them, they have spawned an Assassin like no other.
Born into a time of war, many things are expected of Prince Makeo. From a young age, he suffered through the brutal training of Master Rift only to be followed up by the training of his father. Having started at such a young age, combined with his natural talent, the young Prince is all but unstoppable as a warrior. His success in the training arena has not helped him to grow humble but instead has increased his ego beyond belief. This will be his downfall.
Word has come to King Esh that Reah has assembled a massive army and are ready to finally take control of the Green Territory of Vivreon. Not only that, but he assumes an Aurothian with great power is aiding the King of Reah in supplying his troops with Radiant armor. If Reah takes control of Vivreon then Ballahran will be mostly surrounded and will be forced to kneel.
Makeo hears of this and decides to help his father. How ironic it is that the long-ago hidden terror, the Wisp Blade, is calling out to him. It whispers in Makeo’s ear, telling him that victory would be nearly instant with its help. It promises glory. It promises peace. It promises its protection. All it asks of Makeo… is that he promises to shed blood.
