Issue 2
When your best enemy has your six, and you have theirs, you know the galaxy’s gone bad. Welcome to Issue #2 of Chimera Company, in which cover star Hines “Bronze” Zy Pel and his fellow Legion sappers must choose whether to seek out survivors of Camp Faxian’s betrayal or press on into the Great Ice Plain. With monsters stalking the snowy forests, and a rebel invasion underway, they haven’t much time to make up their minds. Soon they learn that their greatest enemy is not flesh and blood, but the ice world of Rho-Torkis itself.
Issue 3
Legion and Militia work together? The shooting will start by nightfall. Welcome to Issue #3 of Chimera Company, in which secret conspiracies reveal themselves and cover star, Vetch Arunsen, introduces his war hammer to his enemies. We also have a bonus Far Reach Militia timeline at the end. Now let’s raise the hammer and star as we join the People’s Army for the latest issue of Chimera Company.
Issue 4
It’s a chase across the Great Ice Plain in Issue #4 of Chimera Company, featuring cover star, Lily Hjon. A former officer in the Militia who was busted to the ranks, Lily discovers she kind of likes it there because now she feels free to indulge her more extreme pastimes. Those of a nervous disposition had better hope her next project is not them, because Lily doesn’t play nice.
Issue 5
With the Littorane town of Raemy-Ela swarming with Cora’s World zealots, it’s time for the members of Chimera Company to complete their mission. But first they have to resolve their differences, and for some that means murder. Welcome to Issue #5 of Chimera Company season 1. That’s Sapper of the Legion Vol Zavage on the cover this time. Zavage is a Kurlei, a member of a race that arrived in the Perseus Arm with the Exiles 3,000 years ago, but is now on the verge of dying out. His kesah-kihisia head fronds give him the ability to read the emotions of others around him. The ability evolved as a means for this race of hunters to startle prey, but with Zavage it leads to a distinctly poetic perspective on life and gives him a reputation as a hunter of love. It’s time to freshen up on your Littorane vocabulary and return to the Vengeance of Saesh as the action hots up for Chimera Company…
Issue 6
Journey through the exotic and deadly alien world of Rho-Torkis in Issue #6 of Chimera Company. Your cover star is Militia Trooper Enthree, a member of the Muryani race whose loyalties are completely divided, but who understands the disaster overcoming Rho-Torkis more than any in Chimera Company.
Issue 7
The world of Rho-Torkis is falling, but Chimera Company must battle on to complete its mission in Issue #7, the penultimate installment of Season 1. Captain Tavistock Fitzwilliam poses for this issue’s cover, holding up his Commerce Guild recognition token. That’s the Smugglers’ Guild to you and me (but whisper that name quietly because the Guild is very well connected now that it’s respectable). Their mission is almost over, but in the burning city of Bresca-Brevae, Chimera Company faces its biggest test yet.
Issue 8
The enemy has won. The mission is a failure. And Chimera Company has broken apart. But when the early Federation faced extinction, at the critical moment the Legion always held the line, though at a terrible cost. Will Chimera Company do the same?
