The enforcers’ princess was captured and without her energy, they’re starving and too weak to rescue her.
Attempting a prison break is suicide, but if the Star Renegade doesn’t help, the enforcers will die. However if Cal does save them, all fifty enforcers will instantly default to their secondary programming and execute the Renegade crew for past crimes.
Cal wants to cut and run. It’s the smart thing to do. That doesn’t make it right, though. Stars knows how they’re going to get out of this one.
