Lyra 01 – Shadow Magic: In Alkyra, children's tales are told of a time long past when humankind shared the land with folk who had magic in their blood and bones: the small, fierce Wyrd of the forests; the proud Shee in their mountains citadel carved of ice-white rock; and the shimmering Neira of the dark sea. As a child, Alethia had shivered in delicious fright when the bards sang the lays of Alkyra's mythical past. But as a grown woman her nightmares come from the world of human reality: the spreading discontent in a land ruled by querulous noble families, and the soft rumors of war. As a daughter of one of Alkyra's leading families, she has no time now for children's tales. Until she learns that they are all true.

Lyra 02 – Daughter of Witches: Come .. enter the city of Drinn, if you dare. The entering is easy during Festival time; no guard will stop you, no priest will question you as you shuffle through the gates among the crowds, hiding the glow of forbidden magic beneath your brown pilgrim robes. Yes, entering is easy. The hard part is getting out again...

Lyra 03 – The Harp of Imach Thyssel: The harp had been lost for centuries until Emereck the minstrel stumbled across it in an abandoned castle. Emereck wished it had never been found at all - for all magic has its price. Nonetheless, it was one of the greatest treasures in the world of Lyra - for its music could make a dying man whole or a whole city die, according to the songs of old.

Lyra 04 – Caught in Crystal: There stands a twisted tower.. hidden in the Windhome Mountains. Something is imprisoned there - the Sisterhood of Stars does not know precisely what, but something is bound tight with a wizard's spell so that it can never escape again. Kayl is one of the few to have looked upon the Twisted Tower. She has no desire to see it again - she left the Sisterhood long ago, settling down to a quiet life. Her sword lies unused in a secret place beneath the stones of her hearth. But something evil is leaking from the Tower. And now a sorceress and a wizard have appeared on Kayl's doorstep, demanding she take up the sword again.

Lyra 05 – The Raven Ring: The world of Lyra is bedevilled by the dreaded Shadow Born. A proud mountain woman sets out to retrieve her dead mother's Raven Ring. This turns out to be easy, but bringing it home will be far more difficult with such dark forces at work.
