Overview: T.A. Sorsby was born in Sheffield, raised on a diet of movies, television and video games, then squeezed through a filter of music festivals. He lists his favourite authors as Sir Terry Pratchett, Jim Butcher, and claims that without J.K. Rowling, he’d never have learned to read. His current favourite authors are Peter V. Brett, Andy Weir, Scott Meyer and Patrick Rothfuss. Left Behind was his debut novel, the product of a several years of re-drafts and re-writes passed back and forth amongst friends and family. He considered publishing it on Amazon to be like kicking out a friend whose been sleeping on your sofa for years and telling him to get a job. The second book in the Suburban Dead series, Emergency, grew out of a short story he planned on finishing in six months. In the end, it became another novel and took a fair bit longer. He lives in Sheffield with his better half and her bookcases.
