"next time I rough it there will be a black and white tv in the room." fun fact, My dad was in Berlin when the wall went up, I was in Berlin when the wall came down.

The dead rose around the world and all hope seemed lost. But Jared Stone, a wilderness guide and veteran, has a plan. Forced to abandon the camp to the undead, they take to the road to protect the children. Guided by a message from the dead they have a destination, but a trip through a land ruled by the undead to reach the promised shelter of Ft. Sumter won’t be easy. The Dark is not done with them. It wants the children, and its Servant will not stop till it has them.
The Soldier (Book 3)
Jared Stone and his caravan of survivors had survived the end of the world hunted by the what they called Bowler Hat. Determined to save the children in their caravan, they sought the safety of Fort Sumter, promised them in unexplained dreams. From the Smoky mountains to the islands on the east coast. They fight their way through the deadlands heading to an ultimate confrontation that will decide their future.
