Tres Rios, Texas was a small town that would be hard to even place on a map. Located in the Rio Grande Valley in-between San Antonio and Corpus Christi, it was a tight-knit community of ranchers who had family lines that stretched back to the days of the Alamo. All that changed one day when a local rancher discovered oil on his land. The multinational energy conglomerate Triburton quickly swooped in.
