Captain Jaq Hunter and Commander Crip Castle lead this new generation against the Malibor. For now, the time has come to re-enter the war and reclaim what should be theirs.
The crew returns to fulfill their destiny and honor their parents’ legacy.

2. The Return - Jaq Hunter hatches an audacious plan...
Make a high-speed run of Septimus, the Borwyn home planet, but the Malibor have a different idea about where the battle will be fought.
Who is the predator and who is the prey?
The Borwyn find their new friends can be both a hindrance and helpful.
Liberate Septimus and free the Borwyn.
It takes all of Jaq’s willpower to focus the crew on their singular goal.
3. Primacy - War rages in their minds and their souls.
With each setback comes an opportunity. With each advance, a new retreat.
The Borwyn remain undeterred as they gather hardware and rally their allies.
It’s best not to fight from within a vacuum, unless that vacuum is space, and the fight is between starships.
The crew of Chrysalis are challenged afresh when their goal is changed in light of new revelations.
4. Confrontation - Kill or be killed.
Take the fight to the enemy, only until you can’t. Then repair, regroup, rearm, and return to the fight.
Unless the enemy shows up before you’re ready.
Then you get ready.
There are no do-overs in war.
While the battle rages in space, the Borwyn decide to put boots on the ground in a daring, risk-all return to Septimus. The combat team is tasked to disrupt strategic communications.
Is it even possible?
A war fought on two fronts. Never split your forces unless you have to.
The Borwyn are coming home in the greatest confrontation yet, and the Malibor are having none of it.
5. Fallacy - The preliminaries are out of the way. The real fight begins.
The Malibor are putting up staunch resistance, fighting as if their lives depend on it.
Which they do and they don’t. The Borwyn aren’t using a scorched earth approach. They’re not destroying everything in their path. They’re willing to live in peace with the Malibor.
Which is something the Malibor have no interest in. Victory or death! They will defeat the Borwyn, or they will die trying.
There is no glory for anything other than the one who is still standing after the battle is over.
