Overview: Ryder Windham is the author of over fifty Star Wars books. He was also an editor of Star Wars comics for Dark Horse.
Windham was refered to as "without doubt Dark Horse's pre-eminent Star Wars editor" in a Dark Horse comics interview from the mid-90's, and was the editorial Force behind the Dark Empire II miniseries.
He was also said to have overseen the Dark Horse series Heir to the Empire, Jabba the Hutt, River of Chaos,Splinter of the Mind's Eye, Shadows of the Empire, and issues of X-Wing - Rogue Squadron (which were all also credited as being edited by various other editors at Dark Horse in the books themselves).
He also edited and wrote scripts for Star Wars: Droids.
Windham worked closely at the time with Allan Kausch and Sue Rostoni at Lucas Licensing to maintain continuity between the comics, books and other Star Wars properties.
He resides in Providence, Rhode Island with his wife and two daughters.
Dave Wolverton is the author of the novel The Courtship of Princess Leia and has written a number of short stories including Payback: The Tale of Dengar, The Sand Tender: The Hammerhead's Tale and A Free Quarren in the Palace: Tessek's Tale for the Star Wars short story anthologies Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina, Tales from Jabba's Palace and Tales of the Bounty Hunters. He has also contributed to the Jedi Apprentice young reader series, writing book one The Rising Force and co-writing book three The Hidden Past with Jude Watson. He also wrote four of the Episode I Adventures which include Episode I Adventures 5: The Ghostling Children, Episode I Adventures 6: The Hunt for Anakin Skywalker, Episode I Adventures 7: Capture Arawynne and Episode I Adventures 8: Trouble on Tatooine. Wolverton also wrote eight books of the Star Wars Missions series
