Overview: The flaws of humanity have finally taken it's toll on the worldwide population. For reasons unknown, people of all ages have begun to rise after perishing, rise... and hunt. Across America, police forces evacuated as many people as possible to National Guard controlled refugee camps to try and contain the crisis, with devastating results. Some people ignored the evacuation orders to try and gather family members. Evan Carter was one such man to defy the orders. A family man who was also a major writer and illustrator for a major comic book title who had gone to Phoenix to promote his title, leaving his family back in Detroit, Michigan. Evan would stop at nothing to get to his family. In Detroit, a group of survivors begin to gather and plan on ways to survive. With the danger of the wandering masses of undead at every turn, and the fear of reprisal from the beleaguered National Guard, their plans would be tested each minute. To live is the right of all humankind, and no one was going to take that right away from the group of survivors in Detroit.
