Requirements: ePUB or AZW3 Reader | 1 MB | Version: Retail
Overview: This Author is dead secretive, and probably lives in a small dark apartment with several cats. Has a long list of relatives & classmates he dislikes... a large canvas bag of knives, a garotte and of course.... a shovel. He might just live in a town near you (?) (cue in ominous music)
Genre: Mystery/ Psychological Thriller

1. Minot Hacker: The story begins in the year 1992 with seven teenage friends on a hot summer day. The events that follow cost some of them their lives. The whole town grieves when murder cases went unsolved and the killer was not caught. Throughout the years, the whole town still wonders. They go on with their daily lives in a hush, avoiding mention of anything that relates to the murder cases and to the unknown killer, who they call the “Minot Hacker”.
Twenty years later, the story brings us to Tammy Williams, a young newbie detective. Only three months in service, Tammy is already bored with the current state of her career. She’s silently wishing for an exciting assignment when a strange man walks in and confesses to be the Minot Hacker. It is the night when the town is observing the twentieth anniversary of the unsolved Minot murder mystery. Tammy interviews the man, John Doe, and suspects that he might be lying. Tammy conducts more interviews and investigations the next couple of days. She keeps on repeating the puzzle over and over again in her mind, reads the case files again, looking for loopholes and any clues. Then suddenly, her mind begins to understand. She experiences what she calls a “Eureka moment” and everything becomes suddenly clearer. She calls a meeting of the victims family members, Monica, Laura and John, to announce that she knows who the killer is. After 20 years, the “Minot Hacker” will be known and the victims will finally have justice.
Who could be the Minot Hacker? Is it really John? Or is it Monica? Or is it someone else from the group? Only Tammy Williams knows, and she will not allow the killer to run free. She reveals what really happened 20 years ago.
2. Buried: After solving the ‘Minot Hacker’ case, Detective Tammy Williams is well-known in Minot, and she is the envy of some of her colleagues. However, it is no surprise when the boss requests her to investigate a cold case. Williams is still on a high from solving her previous case when a woman’s remains are unearthed in a field behind an abandoned house. The post mortem provides the estimated year of the woman’s death and the grisly details of how she was killed. As the story unfolds, more bodies are recovered, eight in total.
Tammy works her way through extensive research involving a man that seems to fit the role of a serial killer, only to discover that things are not quite what they seem. She works endless hours and interviews many witnesses, racing against time and trying to piece the puzzle together to solve the string of murders so the families of the victims can find peace. However bringing the suspect to justice proves more complicated than she imagined. Tammy realizes she is up against an intelligent psycho killer and begins to wonder whether the man in custody is indeed the murderer. The killer can be anyone.
3. Accused: Life seemed to settle down to a normal pace for detective Tammy Williams after her return from holidays. However, she is unhappy that none of the suspects in the “buried remains” case were convicted for the murder of many persons. The families of the victims are unhappy too knowing that Tammy was not able to resolve the case and bring the serial killers who murdered their loved ones to justice. Unexpectedly caught in a bar with families of the victims and fellow off-duty police officers, Tammy ends up being thrust into a situation she never saw coming.
In a surprising turn of events Tammy has to rely on the help of an old friend to figure out the case that might change the direction of her life.
