Overview: Tony Hunter was born in Potaucac, a small southern town on the banks of the Appomattox River. Their mutilated and headless bodies were found within days, but the crimes were never solved. The murder of his friends haunted Tony for the next thirty years. In 2016, when teens began again to disappear, Tony, by then a best-selling horror fiction writer, his police woman wife, Maria, and his good friend, Professor Thadus Goodfellow search for the killer and, by doing so, place themselves in great danger. Apparently, the killer cannot be harmed by modern weapons but only by those from his own time. They set out to find the man, obtain weapons he fears, and destroy him, while themselves staying alive and protecting those they love; a daunting task at best.
