Life has always been fairly placid for Bluebell Knopps and she's liked it that way.
She has a job working at her mother's salon in the small town of Lledrith. She has a fiance with whom she's in love. And, after years of trial and error, she has finally found a dye that effectively masks her naturally neon-blue hair, allowing her to blend in for the first time in her life!
But things are about to go bad...fast!
When her fiance is found murdered and Bluebell wakes up in the middle of a field with no memory of the night before, even she has to wonder if she could be to blame. After all, he had just broken her heart, effectively turning her perfect life upside down.
But could Bluebell have done it?
The fact is, with the body being found alone in a locked room, no one seems to have a clue as to what happened. It's almost as if it were...MAGIC!
And speaking of magic...
BOOK 2: MURDER AT THE CIRCUS
A trip to the circus? How exciting! And what better place for a first date?!
Well, it would have been wonderful...
Unfortunately, the promotor of the show has been found dead in his trailer and one of the clowns is the main suspect! It's certainly not the way Bluebell expected to spend her evening. And, while the Sheriff has come up with a tidy solution to explain the horrid event, Bluebell isn't so sure.
She's not sure why but something just doesn't feel...right. And Bluebell knows she should trust her feelings. After all, as a witch, albeit a newly-minted one, she's learned that her intuitions & instincts are often spot on.
Now, if she could only get these darned spells to work the way they were supposed to...
BOOK 3: MURDER AT THE COVEN
Bluebell Knopps thought that being a blue-haired witch was weird enough. Then a talking cat offered her a chance to join the most exclusive coven in America, the Phoenix Coven. Now she’s rubbing elbows with some of the most unique and interesting witches in the world, and happily learning the intricacies of being a witch in the process.
But it seems that, even in the witch-world, drama abounds. Bluebell has been witness to endless gossiping, ceaseless bickering and outright undermining. But that’s nothingcompared to the MURDER!
The High Priest of the Phoenix Coven has just been found dead, the victim of obvious foul play. Not surprisingly, the deed was clearly committed by someone with magical powers. The only question is: which of the wizards or witches is the murderer?
Bluebell is determined to find the answer. And her meddling just may cost her more than her spot in the coven!
