The world of running is completely alien to Libby Sarjeant and her friend Fran Wolfe, but when Libby's son Adam and Fran's stepdaughter Sophie join the Nethergate Harriers, they have to take an interest. And when one of the runners goes missing in the middle of the Nethergate 5K, they take more than an interest! It's not long before a body is found – and Libby and Fran are caught up in another investigation...

The Oast Theatre in Steeple Martin is hosting a touring production of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night which is attracting a lot of attention. But very soon it begins to attract attention of an entirely different kind, when a document goes missing along with its owner. When a body turns up, Libby Sarjeant and Fran Wolfe become involved with the investigation with the help, naturally, of their friends and relatives.
#20 - Murder Repeated
Ten years ago, an unfortunately none-too-rare story causes a furore in Kent, and indeed, the national media. A beautiful young woman with a promising career as a singer walks home alone from a party and is never seen again. There is no evidence, forensic or otherwise, and no-one is ever arrested.
Ten years later, Libby Sarjeant is talked into inspecting a derelict hotel in her home village of Steeple Martin. The body of a young boy is discovered – but is it anything to do with the mysterious disappearance from over a decade ago?
