The Bermuda Quadrangle by Bill North
Requirements: ePUB Reader, 271 KB
Overview: It started with Flynn’s Gold, and The Bermuda Quadrangle is the fifth book in the series. It’s another not very serious tale featuring Junior, Earl, and all their friends on Ayers Key. In addition there are some new characters. A huge man called Little Tom, and a pair of identical twin sisters, the Grabowskie sisters, Pansy and Rose.
A mystery writer is found shot to death in a second story room that is locked from the inside, and there is no gun in the room. Earl wants to solve the puzzle, and when he’s not working on that he’s interested in “researching” what he sees as the perplexing goings on in the Bermuda Triangle. He believes that it’s not a triangle at all, but more probably a quadrangle that extends down to the Florida Keys.
For readers who haven’t read the other books in the series that started with Flynn’s Gold, I am including a little background of the major characters.
Junior and Earl, widowers and best friends from the North Carolina Mountains moved to Ayers Key in search of a treasure in gold and silver coins. Earl met and married Ruby who had a rough, alcohol soaked past but has turned her life around. Earl is ever curious and occasionally culture shocked. Junior is laid back and often amused at Earl.
Genre: Mystery/Thriller
