She is told to accept the ‘official version’ of events, even though it doesn’t make sense. But in a world wrecked by rising sea levels, where society is only just keeping its head above water, you don’t break ranks. You don’t question authority. You don’t break the rules.
But Corsa can’t let go. And the more they try to silence her, the more determined she is to discover the truth.

In these difficult times we must all make sacrifices for the greater good.
Detective Corsa Moran is in crisis.
David, the one good thing in her life, has been arrested and accused of being an illegal.
To free him, she must travel into the occupied north of Scotland, and investigate the disappearance of three civilian contractors with links to a government outpost that stinks of corruption.
Instinct tells her that a killer is on the loose, and he will kill again, but no-one seems to care. Has she really been sent to investigate the fate of three men, or is there something else going on, something deeper and darker?
In the face of indifference and hostility from the police and the military, and the anger and despair of local inhabitants, Corsa must call on all her guts and guile to dig through the layers of deceit and get to the truth.
The Greater Good is an all-too-real depiction of a future dominated by military power, the long arm of the state and indifference to human suffering.
