From this point on, everyone becomes a suspect in her murder, especially Hillary, who attempts to do some snooping into the case, if all to clear Spot’s name from chocolate thievery, this time of the deadly kind.

There’s been a fire at a popular bookstore, and Genevieve Hardcore, the store’s owner and a beloved local denizen with more than a few foes, was caught in the fiery blaze….
Looks like another hot case for amateur super sleuth, Hillary Sheridan-if Rosemary Harbor police chief Preston Holden doesn’t cool her tracks, first.
But Hillary has more than a good enough reason to stick her irons in the fire: her building’s landlord (and Hillary’s good friend), Rose Humbert, has just become Suspect #1 in the case for many reasons, including a very dubious history she has, one that puts her in hot water now.
4. The Diamond Hunt - Can Hillary knock Preston off his high horse to let her help? Or will another person lose their life before losing face amongst their peers?
People love to delve into books to escape, but Hillary must take it a step further. She joins the book club in a fit to be sociable.
However, there are more twists to add to the tale when Janet Hines, a fellow member, is found dead in her barn house. The locals are shocked as the handsome police chief, Preston, declares that Janet’s death was not accidental – but a suspected murder.
Hillary is a newcomer in a town stuck in mourning, but suspicions quickly give way to pointed fingers – and suddenly friends and family alike are arguing. She must put up a united front with Preston, who insists that her input is not needed, to try and piece together who killed Janet before someone else becomes a target.
5. Basket Delivery - Matters of the heart are deadly in Rosemary Harbor.
Tragedy comes to a place of beauty when Tara Fulone’s body is found in one of the tanning machines in the local beauty parlor, A Place in the Sun. She’d always been the type who had gotten her way – but this time had been the last straw for someone with a vendetta.
Preston immediately launches into questioning the closest to her, suspecting Giovanni and Dr. Lee. His methods only take him so far… so Hillary must apply her resources to try and pull out clues where they are kept under lock and key. She is not above going undercover to see how deep the betrayal goes and how it ended with Tara’s body in the morgue.
6. Sticky Sweet - A Doctor calls – only to fall short of breath.
Dr. Milo Grandview, the friendly local practitioner, is found dead. He’d been a breath of fresh air to the community, writing prescriptions for a lot of desperate people for a list of ailments. With Hillary by his side, Preston launches into inquiries over the suspicious death. It is quickly deduced that not all of Milo’s patients were legitimate. The lies, addiction and threats beneath the scrubs are massive and ground-breaking – motivation for cold-blooded murder.
