Minty feels that she brought all these troubles to her family and friends, and so she must set things right.

It’s February 7, 1900, and a young woman has gone missing from a Kansas City garment factory. The young woman’s concerned employer hires Price Investigations to find the girl who may have come to harm. Minty Wilcox longs to help, but her boss forbids her to take part in cases except as to type up the male operatives’ reports. He also forbids any office romance at all, especially with his nephew. But Minty decides to defy her boss and go undercover to find the girl. A co-worker helps Minty investigate, but he also hinders her with outrageous flirtation and other ploys. And as she digs into the case, Minty comes into danger herself . . .

As their wedding day rapidly approaches, Minty Wilcox still has many questions about her fiancé. Did he really kill a man? What else is he hiding about his past? Why has he never told her he’s rich? And for goodness’ sake, where are they going on their honeymoon?
Detectives’ Honeymoon
This follow-up short story to Mischief in March picks up exactly where Book 3 left off with a most shocking discovery in their new home. A Harvey Girl and a would-be Sherlock Holmes interfere with their honeymoon plans and soon exactly where the detectives will honeymoon is thrown into doubt, if they have a honeymoon at all.
