1. Strangeways to Oldham (2012)
A series featuring a pair of amateur sleuths and a delightful outpouring of English upper-class eccentricities – with the odd murder thrown in.
Lady Amanda Golightly of Belchester Towers is a person in complete contrast to the stereotypical image of one of her breeding. She is short, portly, and embarrassingly forthright. If she wasn't calling a spade a shovel, it was only because she was calling it 'trumps'!
On a visit to a local nursing home where an old business partner of her father's is residing, she unexpectedly discovers a long-lost friend, Hugo Cholmondley-Crichton-Crump – and stumbles upon murder as well.
Installing Hugo in the more civilised and comfortable surroundings of Belchester Towers, the pair turn to sleuthing after Lady Amanda reports her appalling discovery to the local police inspector and is incensed when he treats her as a silly old biddy with an over-active...

4. Old Moorhen's Shredded Sporran (2013)
Another tongue - in - cheek romp for our intrepid decrepit heroes.
Lady Amanda Golightly and her housemate Hugo Cholmondeley - Crichton - Crump return from their visit to Scotland to find a letter informing them that Hugo's sister will be arriving the following day for a month's visit, which sours Lady A's mood as Tabitha constantly bullied her at school.Her manservant's announcement that he is now betrothed to Enid Tweedie, sort of friend and general gopher for his employer, has already unsettled her.
If that wasn't enough to cope with, it appears that, while they were away, the security of Belchester Towers had been breached and there had been thefts. To top it all, somebody started systematically killing off the domestic staff!
Enter Detective Inspector Moody and Detective Sergeant Glenister, and all hell breaks loose!

4.5. Trick or Threat (2014)
The Rev. Goodfellow pays a visit to Lady Amanda Golightly at Belchester Towers, upset by the trick-or-treat antics of some local youths who are apparently using this innocent Hallowe'en pastime as a means of extracting money with menaces.
Incensed at this bullying of vulnerable local residents, including one of her own circle, Lady Amanda, aided by her faithful friend Hugo Cholmondley-Crichton-Crump, girds her loins and prepares to bring the perpetrators to justice.

5. Caribbean Sunset with a Yellow Parrot (2014)
Lady Amanda Golightly and her old friend Hugo Cholmondley-Crichton-Crump are off to the Caribbean. One of Lady A’s old school-friends is having a school reunion, coupled with a push to sell the villas she has built on part of a privately-owned island. Some of the old girls already live there, others are crossing for the reunion by sea, and Lady Amanda books crossings on the same ship – the Seven Seas Floating Party Town.
Hugo, on embarkation, is horrified to discover himself the centre of attention in a gaggle of elderly women with a plethora of unlikely nicknames. As usual, life is anything but uneventful and, soon after disembarkation, the tropical island paradise is rife with murder, smuggling, blackmail and much, much, more.
With Lady Amanda’s unerring nose for nefarious deeds, she, Hugo and the newlywed and utterly besotted Beauchamps are off on the detecting trail once more – this time with coconut rum – and their adventures include Lady A’s too close for comfort encounter with a dustbin and Hugo’s unfortunate experience with the local hot sauce.

5.5. God Rob Ye Merry Gentleman (2015)
A festive special, complete with Beauchamps Major and Minor.
It's nearly Christmas in Belchester and the carol singers are out in full swing. So too are the thieves! A spate of burglaries is underway and the police are baffled.
When Belchester Towers becomes a target, Lady Amanda Golightly is determined to get to the bottom of it all. None of the usual criminal types in the city seem to be involved, but after a bit of lateral thinking and old chum Hugo's help, Lady Amanda is off, sniffing after a totally unsuspected scent...
