Overview: When a young Austrian Polizei officer goes missing in Innsbruck, Jake Adams is asked to work off the books to find this woman. Why? Because Jake saved Anica Senka from a horrible fate when this young woman was a little girl, a refugee from the Balkan Wars of the 90s. Jake barely gets to Innsbruck when the shooting begins. This case is obviously more than a simple missing person case. It turns out Anica was working undercover on loan to Europol, the law enforcement agency of the European Union, infiltrating a potential Serbian underworld organization. Now Jake is drawn into a complex case throughout the Alps, where he must use his considerable shadow warrior skills to help bring down an international organization of seedy individuals. With Sirena again at his side, Jake must peel away the layers of this organization, turning sedate Alpine communities into a new war zone.
