Indie Warren's life has become very complicated.
She's landed herself in a magical town with no way out from the frigid weather. She was the main suspect in a murder case and nearly died trying to prove her innocence. She can't seem to rid herself of the handsome and irritating town librarian. And she's discovered she has the power to control all four elements like no other witch or wizard before her.
Not to mention her new best friend is a talking owl.
Under the advice of her friends, she decides to accept the editor position at the Charming Springs Gazette, hoping to dig up information that will help her break the barrier spell around the town and find her way back home.
