But in the early morning hours of the festival’s final day, trouble rears its ugly head again! The body of local bad boy Mitch Carter is discovered behind the tent of Miquel’s Brazilian Steakhouse. He’s been stabbed through with one of the restaurant's long skewers. Who would want to see Mitch dead? Or is a better question who wouldn’t? The day of the tournament starts out bright and clear, a perfect day for golf. Jackie finishes her round and is enjoying snacks and refreshments in the event tent when she hears an ambulance approaching. Junene, the tournament chairwoman, insists Jackie join her on a breakneck golf cart ride to the 13th hole where a player is down.
Happily, the victim leaves on a stretcher giving everyone the thumbs up to go ahead and finish the event. It appears to be a horrible accident, an errant shot from the shooting range in the wooded hills above the course. But Monday morning dawns with bad news for Chief of Police Jeff.
Was it still an accident or suddenly something more sinister?
12. Holiday Havoc - With only days to go until Jackie's wedding, the unthinkable happens, and murder wreaks havoc on the best-laid plans!
