Dependent on someone she swore never to lean on again, she finds refuge at the Barbizon Hotel for Women, filled to the brim with competitive, driven women all looking to score a prosperous match. When one of them is killed, Seldom gets drawn into the investigation, bringing her in close contact with someone she never thought she'd meet. Armed with knowledge of the future, she believes she was sent back to change coming events. But a killer is waiting and watching, willing to go to any lengths to keep her out of the game.
