3. GONE FROM THE GRAVE - A body with no name and a name with no body.
Inspector Conal Brophy and team are presented with conflicting cases when a young woman goes missing from outside her mother’s country house, and a couple of nights later, a skeleton is found behind a pub in a sleepy mountainous village a few miles away.
It’s only a matter of time before the cases present clues that show there might well be a connection. As the Waterford City detectives enter into a world of occult depravity and figure out a killer may be resurfacing after three decades underground determined to toy with the whole country, tempers flare and the team begins to come asunder.
Brophy’s mental health issues come to the fore, and his actions end up compromising the entire investigation. But just when they think the killer might have returned to the shadows, the unthinkable happens.
Will they catch him and find the missing woman alive, or will she become another unsolved mystery for the records?

A man is kidnapped from his home and held for ransom, and Inspector Brophy is on the hunt. After the man is found, the reunion with his family is darkened by a trove of lies and deceit which reaches into the corrupt underbelly of Ireland’s police force, An Garda Síochána.
A body of a missing man is thrown into the mix, and Brophy is forced to question the integrity of the force he has struggled to remain a part of in recent years.
Just when he thought things couldn’t get more complicated, a woman is abducted in broad daylight, but this time no ransom is demanded, and they fear the worst.
