1. Ghostly Apparitions
Ghost hunter extraordinaire Meredith Good is not feeling all that great these days. She's broke and the only possession she has in the world is her crappy car that barely runs anymore. So she decides to move back to her hometown: Silver Bells Cove, Ohio. It's not ideal, but it'll do, for now anyway. She's glad to see her grandmother and she's more than happy to indulge in her grandmother's delicious pastries. When she runs into her ex, who happens to be a cop now, things get a bit more complicated. Oh, there's also a dead body by the lake and the ghost belonging to that body wants nothing more than for his murder to be solved.
Things get interesting when Meredith finds out that the victim was working on projects around the small town, trying to modernize the quaint town with tourist-ready hotels and chain stores. A sexy PI, a greedy billionaire and some not-so-happy locals could all be prime suspects in the murder, and it's up to Meredith to get to the truth of the matter. With a little help from her best friend Rebecca (who just happens to be a ghost), Meredith is sure to get herself into all kinds of trouble. All she has to do is make sure she doesn't become a ghost herself in the process!
2. Ghostly Illusions
Ghost hunter Meredith Good was getting used to being back in her small hometown, Silver Bells Cove, Ohio. The most serious things she's had to deal with the past few months were hauntings and things that go bump in the night. That she could handle. But when a popular stage magician has a surprise show in the small town and then ends up dead, small town life is about to get a lot more complicated. Not only will Meredith have to convince the local sheriff that she's not crazy, but she'll also have to deal with friends and family that are keeping secrets from her. Then there's Kane Xavier, the PI that left an impression on her. He wants more than Meredith’s friendship but Meredith is not so sure she's ready for all that. Her life was complicated enough without getting into romantic entanglements. She's been there and done that, so what was the use?
By the time the identity of the killer is revealed, many dark secrets will come into the light. The only question that remains is who will stay standing in the end, and who won't be so lucky. Can Meredith solve the crime and help the victim move on before someone she cares about becomes a ghost? Or will she become a ghost herself? There's only one way to find out…
3. Ghostly Wedding
Meredith Good is a ghost hunter and now she’s also a maid of honor. Her cousin Sarah is marrying Meredith’s ex and has given her the honor of being involved in every step of the wedding. Meredith is happy for the couple, but she’s not so happy with her newfound responsibilities. To make things worse, Meredith’s absentee parents are in town and they do not get along. Once the wedding day finally arrives, Meredith is ready to put it all behind her and return to her normal existence. But the dead have another plan. The hotel where the wedding reception takes place holds a dark secret that even Meredith couldn’t detect. When the wedding guests start turning up dead, it’s up to Meredith, her best friend Rebecca, her PI boyfriend Kane, her brother Troy, and a host of others, both living and dead, to solve the mystery of the haunted hotel and stop anymore wedding guests from becoming ghosts themselves.
Will Meredith succeed before Sarah’s wedding is totally ruined? Will her parents survive the night? Will the town of Silver Bells Cove finally learn that Meredith has been right all along, that the dead walk among the living? One thing is for certain, this will be Meredith’s toughest case yet. Perhaps even she won’t survive the night...
4. Ghostly Town
Meredith Good has gotten a strange letter in the mail, with money included upfront. The letter says that she needs to go to Ghostly, Missouri, a town that has made hauntings a tourist destination. The sender did not leave their name and address, so Meredith feels obliged to at least check it out. Her boyfriend, Kane, and her ghostly friend, Rebecca, join her. Once they get there, the mystery of the letter sender won’t be the only thing on their minds. A séance they attend ends with the medium dead. One is a coincidence, but when a second medium drops dead in as many days, Meredith is determined to find out what’s really going on.
With the help of a local ghost hunting group and a talented psychic, Meredith will find the person or persons responsible. The only trouble is, the perpetrator just might be a spirit. But not just any spirit, but one of the most dangerous spirits she has come across yet. And it appears that now she’s the target...
5. Ghostly Endings
When long-buried bones come to the surface in her hometown, Meredith Good will have to face her hardest case yet. With the help of a psychic, she will find out that the bones belonged to her best friend Rebecca. Now it will be up to Meredith to finally figure out what really happened to her friend, and who her friend used to be before she lost her memories. With the help of friends both old and new, she will finally solve a decades-long mystery. But what if the past doesn’t stay dead? What if the threat is very much in the here and now? Will she be able to protect her loved ones, or even herself?
This is the final installment in the Ghost Hunter PI mystery series and it’s the most personal yet for Meredith. Not only will she finally uncover what really happened to her ghostly friend, she will also get a closer look at what real evil really looks like. And not everyone will come out of this alive...
