1. Full Circle
Full Circle is the first novel in the Civil War series, which explores the ongoing struggle to reshape the American value system. Set in the mid-2020s, Full Circle tells the story of Guy Pearle, the CEO of Innovative Applications Unlimited, a small East Coast company on the verge of an IPO. He is hounded by Lucinda Hornbuckle, the ambitious editor of Social Tech, who believes that publicly traded companies have an inherent responsibility to lead on social justice and climate change. In Lucinda’s view, Guy is not sufficiently “woke” on either issue and must change his views or suffer the consequences.

Threatened by frivolous lawsuits from Lucinda, and battered by personal tragedy, Guy travels to Tarfaya, Morocco, home of the Africa Renaissance Project, where his newest green technology projects are being tested. When Lucinda nearly succeeds in taking control of IAU, Guy vows to return to the United States, but first must survive a deadly attack on the ARP compound. Upon his return to the United States, Guy is determined to fight Lucinda and her powerful media allies for the right to run his company as he sees best. Along the way, he learns how to play the game Lucinda's way, and teaches her that actions do, in fact, have consequences.

2. Questionable Intent
Guy Pearle takes an advisory role in the 2028 presidential campaign of Rebecca Sweeny. Despite his ardent desire to steer clear of politics, Guy stands up to Malcolm Rutherford, the British-born billionaire owner of the Washington Note, to prevent the media mogul from tipping the electoral scale against Rebecca. After the unthinkable happens, Guy joins the new administration in a diplomatic role and quickly finds himself back in Morocco, where he forms an alliance with Ebiere Olani, the fiery Nigerian minister, to keep the Chinese from springing their debt trap in Africa. At home, President Sweeny struggles to make good on her campaign promise to change the tone of American political discourse. Battered by a hostile press and hindered by her own lack of political experience, she catches a break when a whistleblower reveals rampant corruption in federally funded media outlets.

3. Total Victory
As Rebecca Sweeny enters the second half of her first term, the world is stunned when a terrorist explodes a dirty bomb in Mecca, Islam’s holiest city, and blames the United States for the attack. Rebecca and her strongest ally, Guy Pearle, battle enemies foreign and domestic to tell the truth about what really happened. Alarmingly, she faces off against her own vice president, who openly covets her job.

After surviving an ordeal of his own, Guy Pearle helps President Sweeny fight against those who want to destroy America and what it stands for. He is elevated to secretary of state, but it remains to be seen whether they can prevent the enemies of the United States from achieving total victory.
