Two Sisters & a Journalist Srs (#2-3 & 7) by Maddie Cochere
Requirements: .ePUB, .MOBI/.AZW reader, 1.73 MB
Overview: Maddie Cochere spent five years working for a major weight loss company by day and working/playing at a racquetball club in the evenings and on weekends. Her writing career began by writing operations training manuals for both corporate and franchise weight loss centers. It was only natural for Maddie to use her experiences from the weight loss industry and playing racquetball as inspiration for Susan Hunter in her Susan Hunter Mysteries, which are pretty squeaky clean. There is nothing to make you blush. Each book is a light mystery, with a little humor and a little romance.
Genre: Fiction > Mystery/Thriller > Cozy > Crime > Women Sleuths

Murder Is Where the Heart Is (Two Sisters & a Journalist #2):
Amateur private investigator Jo Ravens is the only common link in the murder of three people and the abduction of a cab driver. While police are busy building a case against her, Jo races to prove her innocence. Her sister Pepper and journalist friend Jackie are on hand to assist in catching the real killer. The antics of her ex-husband and eccentric Mama add to this humorous mystery.
Murder Welcomes You to Buxley (Two Sisters and a Journalist #3):
Jo Ravens is busy trying to locate a stolen car, find a missing teen, and catch a philandering husband in the act. She already has more work than she can handle when she finds a murdered girl leaning against a dumpster. Has the girl really been strangled for stealing a cell phone? Jo also meets Susan Hunter when Susan comes to town to assist in the opening of a Slimmers Weight Loss center. Their interaction, as well the continued antics of Jo’s madcap family, adds to the humor in Murder Welcomes You to Buxley.
Murder Wears a Veil (Two Sisters & a Journalist #7):
Jo and her family are in Hawaii for a dream vacation. Things deteriorate when a family friend dies and Jo later witnesses what appears to be a murder. She keeps the details of the crime to herself and doesn’t notify the police before leaving the islands.
Realizing she could be subpoenaed back to Hawaii for a trial, she does all she can to solve the murder from her home in Ohio. Unfortunately, her efforts are hindered by Addison Chambers. Aunt Addie is in town for a bridal shower, and Jo has begrudgingly volunteered to show her around for a few days. Of course, it doesn’t help that Mama and Aunt Addie can’t stop arguing.
Murder Wears a Veil is a humorous mystery, and this time, it’s Aunt Addie’s fault.
