Moving into a new apartment, Thomas William finds a hole hidden within a painting that affords him a view into the adjacent apartment…
… and of his neighbour Amy Porter.
The funny thing is, Amy is missing and presumed dead.
Thomas lives in apartment 1d. Depressed, broke, with a reputation in tatters, the once published author struggles to find inspiration for his next book. Amy lives in apartment 1e. A nurse, she is strong, independent and optimistic for the future.
Thomas and Amy are neighbours, just at different times. Connecting them is a hole in the wall, a window in time, one-way offering Thomas a view of the past (Amy's abduction by a masked intruder), while the other, the future (his own murder at the hands of the same masked fiend).
If Thomas wants to survive, he must explore the dark world of a stalker's obsession (easy enough), solve Amy's mysterious disappearance (somewhat harder), and ultimately solve his own murder before it ever happens (no guarantees).
