Much like my witch, I have a strong sense for justice and when the angels are stumped over the killer, we poke around. We also find a worrying connection to the body, a dangerous gang of magical criminals, and what happened to Zandra's missing parent.
Can a plucky witch and a strikingly beautiful white cat (that's me) with power beat the gang, find the killer, and locate the missing person, or will the bad guys win?

Crimson Cove already feels like home, but sometimes it's not always sweet. When I meet a misunderstood murder suspect, I know something is wrong. How did one bad-tempered badger destroy an ancient vampire?
With my wonderful witch, Zandra Crypt, by my side, I poke my adorable booping snooter into this mystery to make sure the angels don't make a mess of the investigation. No innocent furball goes down for a crime they didn't commit when I'm around.
While we snoop and question, we discover unhappy drones, an angry ex-girlfriend, and a vampire with designs on Crimson Cove. But which one of them had the power and opportunity to break into a locked room undetected and destroy a 500-year-old vampire?

No, it's not a joke. Crimson Cove is awash with warring werewolves. And I'm not purring. Werewolves mean trouble.
And then there's the continued invasion of the non-magicals. Why are they here? How do they keep sneaking in? It's another thing that has my murder mittens twitching.
When top werewolf negotiator, Emron Laker, loses his head, the trouble bubbles and risks boiling over as werewolves rampage and demand justice, putting my wonderful witch and all the non-magicals at risk.
As reluctant as I am to put my witch in harm's way, we want the werewolves gone, so offer our services as part of our animal control duties to sniff out the killer (well, I'll be doing most of the sniffing!)
We find troubled packs, unhappy bonds, and a den of issues.
