But then there's a second mysterious suicide and a few elements that just don't add up. To Moone and DI Mandy Butler it looks as if someone is forcing them to take their own lives.
When Moone forms his murder team, he finds himself having to work once more with the unstable Faith Carthew, who seems more dangerous than ever. He realises not only does DS Carthew have her sights set on him, but also on one day becoming his boss- something he cannot let happen.
It soon becomes apparent to DCI Moone their killer has a list of potential victims that he plans to force to take their own lives.
On that list, is the name of a certain detective...
