Several residents in the tranquil, mountain town had more than enough reason to off the out-spoken Clemencia, and the police seem determined to pin the crime on an innocent woman.
Time is running out for Natalia to revamp the hotel, solve the murder, and regain the town’s trust. With a murderer on the loose and the gossip mill running rampant, no one is willing to set foot in either the hotel or the bakery. If Natalia can’t solve this murder in time, she’ll be forced to return to her dead-end job as a failure and leave the only place that has ever felt like home.
Sanctuary for Murder (#2)
When her hotel got descended on by vegan Youtubers and out of town family fly in unexpectedly right before her best-friend’s wedding, the last thing Natalia expected was a murder in the sanctuary. But that’s exactly what happened.
Natalia’s best-friend’s wedding gets postponed when the church secretary is found murdered under the church pew. When it’s labeled an accident by the incompetent police chief, Natalia needs to find the murderer amidst the chaos of a packed hotel with difficult family members and unexpected vegan Youtubers who want to showcase her hotel and bakery, as if running a hotel and bakery in smalltown central Mexico wasn’t hard enough already. Natalia needs to solve the case before it goes cold. But with the number of secrets her employees and guests are hiding and the police chief denying any foul play– Will that even be possible?
