Overview: Phillipa Nefri Clark lives in country Victoria with her husband, two sons, and a gorgeous black Labrador. Working a dual role in marketing and retail in the family’s pet supplies business, Phillipa uses her skills to write engaging copy whilst loving every minute spent with customers and their owners. Her published work includes many non-fiction expert pieces about dogs, three international specialist dog yearbooks, newspaper articles, and science fiction fanzine stories. When not working or writing, Phillipa loves reading everything from romance to thrillers and speculative fiction, enjoys growing vegetables and roses, and being with her much loved family. The inspiration for The Stationmaster’s Cottage came from the real life cottage nearby, a childhood spent in coastal towns, and the poignant reunion with her sister after a lifetime apart. It was registered initially as a screenplay in 2005 with WGA and conceived in 2002. Phillipa is a member of Romance Writers of Australia.

#1 - The Christmas Tree Thief
She's looking forward to a quiet Christmas, but this small town is anything but quiet . . .
Former psychiatrist Charlotte Dean has had enough trouble to last a lifetime. When the opportunity to work in a bookshop in the picturesque town of Kingfisher Falls arises, she realises it may be a rare chance to start over where no one knows about her past. The last thing Charlotte expects to see is someone stealing Christmas trees, but she's determined not to get involved. Especially when some of the locals, including the town police officer, are suspicious of a newcomer like Charlotte. Unfortunately, trouble has a way of finding Charlotte. When the bookshop becomes a target, she's forced to reconsider her hands-off policy—even if it means putting herself in danger. In order to find the culprit, Charlotte will discover what it really means to live in a small town and that the prospect of becoming a local may not be so bad after all. So long as it involves a spot of sleuthing on the side, of course . . .
#2 - Deadly Falls
So many motives, but who is the killer?
Charlotte is finding her place in the peaceful town of Kingfisher Falls. Working in the bookshop with Rosie is a joy, as is their growing friendship. If only Leading Senior Constable Sid Browne would get over his grudge against Rosie's son, Trev, and stop making a pest of himself, then life would be perfect.
But the sudden death of one of the book club ladies lands Charlotte in the middle of an investigation. Was it an accident, or is something more sinister going on? A series of cryptic messages deepen the mystery of who knows what.
Rosie is keeping secrets, the remaining book club ladies are pointing fingers at each other, and someone is following Charlotte's every move. Suspecting Sid might be behind the messages, Charlotte has to find the killer... before the killer finds her.
