Dirty Ghoul (#18)
Wicked witches. Murder. Mystery.

When enchanted dust bunnies attack for unknown reasons, it’s going to take a dirty ghoul to clean up the mess.

As the most brilliant teacher at a prestigious boarding school for witches, it is often up to Ms. Vega Bloodmire to solve the school’s problems when no one else wants to get their hands dirty cleaning up magical messes. Vega is determined to focus on more important things than magical vermin like dust bunnies—and instead focus on her upcoming date—but no one else is as adept at solving mysteries as she is.

When Vega learns she hasn’t solved the problem, and the dust bunnies have taken over her clothes, she has to find a solution, or she’ll have nothing to wear on her date. The problem grows worse as students with allergies suffer asthma attacks as the dust bunnies infiltrate the school. Animated dust isn’t the only magical malady that has suddenly cropped up. School supplies walk off during class, taking students with them. Something strange is going on, and Vega worries a sinister force is at work. If a Fae intends on kidnapping her students, she’ll put a stop to it.

Can Vega discover who is behind these disturbances and stop them before dust bunnies destroy her wardrobe—and the school?

Ghoul’s Night Out (#21)
Wicked witches. Murder. Mystery.
A locked room mystery, a handsome detective, and a ghoul who is trying to keep her craving for fermenting flesh under wraps. What could possibly go wrong?

Vega Bloodmire has secrets—and she would like to keep them that way. She wants the world to see her as an ordinary wicked witch, not a ghoul who uses forbidden magic. Her plans for following the rules and hiding her scandalous abilities are threatened when a hot detective asks her for assistance solving a mystery.

The murder victim appears to be a former student from Lady of the Lake School for Girls, though not one Vega recognizes as one of her students. The room where the victim died was locked from the inside, the windows painted closed, and there were no other means of getting into the room. Is magic at work?

As the only competent, reliable witch the detective knows—not to mention one who isn’t squeamish about corpses—it’s up Vega to assist the police and find out how this victim died. And if she has her way, punish the wrongdoer.

Unfortunately, not is all as it seems. It’s going to take more than magic to solve this mystery.

Ghouls Gone Wild (#22)
Wicked witches. Murder. Mystery.
A ghoul who breaks her no-flesh diet. A kitsune trickster with a side hustle as an identity thief. This death is more than it seems.
Vega Bloodmire has finally decided to master her ghoul powers in secret, so that she will be less likely to give into cravings and lose control. She plans to practice in a safe way, eating only animals to set off her shapeshifting abilities. After venturing to the forest and consuming a fox corpse, Vega is shocked to discover she hasn’t eaten a fox at all.

Instead of transforming into an animal, Vega turns into a person.

That means Vega accidentally consumed a lycanthrope, kitsune, or shapeshifter. She knows a teenage girl has been murdered, but she ate the evidence. Now she must figure out who this mysterious girl was that no one has missed and why someone would kill her. The murderer is still out there, and Vega intends to find the culprit—and ensure no other students at her school die.

Can a ghoul solve the mystery of this student’s identity when facing a shapeshifting trickster?
