Overview: Jay Gill was born in Poole, Dorset, United Kingdom. At aged 18, Jay moved to London where he worked in the printing industry, specialising in pharmaceutical leaflets and packaging. Lord Kingsley asks private detective Henry Fleming to help recover the Kingsley Ruby. The precious gem was stolen from a hotel room in Paris while being moved from Zurich, Switzerland to London, England.
Fleming travels to Paris and speaks with the young man in Lord Kingsley's employ whose job it was to transport the gem.
Fleming must unravel how the jewel came to be stolen, in order to figure out who was behind the theft.
