Lottie and company set sail for London, England...but not before deciding to divert to Paris for a small holiday first. Inspector Sterling Stone has been been given a top secret assignment in the world's most romantic location, and he's asked Lottie to come along. Perhaps they will be able to steal a few memorable moments together before going home to her overbearing former mother-in-law in the English countryside.
After all, she deserve a reprive, after all she's been through? Lottie can't wait to stroll arm and arm with Sterling down the blossoming streets of Paris, do some simple sightseeing, and enjoy the chance to finally relax.
But relaxation doesn't look like it's in the cards for the Lottie when she wakes the first night in her first-class hotel suite to find a gleaming knife has been placed under her pillow.
