The summer doesn’t peak in Maine until the week of the best renaissance faire in all of New England. Where else can Mackenzie and her friend, Amy, sell their baked goods to archers, wizards, pirates, knights, and even a queen?
When an actor makes his final curtain call and the police aren’t investigating the death, tempers around the faire reach a boiling point. All arrows point to natural causes, but Mac isn’t shortening her process. This time, it’s ‘Michael Number Two’ who is directly associated with the deceased, and he wants proof that his business partner’s expiration wasn’t really a homicide.
It will take an emulsion of effort to solve a case that isn’t even on the record.
