Now that Sophie Arnold is several weeks out from being held at knife point by a crazed murderer, her life has returned to its ordinary rhythm. Not only is her bakery thriving thanks to a steady social media following, but she’s also being pursued by two extremely handsome, albeit polar opposite, men.

Even though she’s plagued with recurring nightmares after the horrible incident, she finds solace in the normalcy of her days with her faithful companion, Marshmallow. That is, until the two of them discover her crotchety, hermit of a neighbor, Dwight, face-down on his lawn.
Carter, the clean-cut and overtly attractive out-of-town detective, insists that her neighbor died of old age. Sophie, being the sneaky sleuth that she is, insists that there were too many things out of place the morning of Dwight’s death.
As she sets out to prove to Carter that a full-blown investigation is needed, Sophie quickly finds herself wrapped up in a murder case that involves her creepy, teenage neighbor and the president of the HOA.
Meanwhile, Andy, the muscular hardware store owner with boyish good looks, decides to make his true feelings known to Sophie, sending her into a tailspin of confusion over her love life. To make matters even more complicated, she now has a pet store franchise owner interested in her new grain-free dog cookies.
Can Sophie get to the bottom of Dwight’s murder while juggling the demands of her bakery and love triangle?

3. Wedding Cake Catastrophe - Something old, something new, something borrowed, something...askew?
Sophie has just received her first advance check for her delectable dog biscuits. With the extra cash, she hires another employee, freeing up some time to try her hand at baking cakes, just like her grandmother. Her skills are put to the test when an out-of-town bride asks her to make a stunning cake and other delicious pastries for her destination wedding since her fiance' was just diagnosed as celiac. There’s a catch, though. The wedding is in a week and Sophie has to be on-site for several days.
Right before she accepts the job, she has a falling out with Andy and wonders if he’s the man she assumed he was. Meanwhile, Carter decides to stay in town permanently but spends all of his time working. Are either of them worth her time?
Sophie, Lexie, and Marshmallow load up and join the wedding party at a swanky manor. Just when Sophie starts to feel as if she’s leveled up, strange events leave everyone with an uneasy feeling. Not only is someone trying to sabotage the wedding, Sophie has to keep an eye on her mischievous dog, Marshmallow, as he constantly harrasses and inappropriately sniffs the bride-to-be’s schnauzer.

4. Gingerbread Jeopardy - I'm dreaming of a white...poodle.
It's been over two months since Sophie helped solve the mystery of a sabotaged wedding. Now that she and Andy are exclusively dating, she tries to put the past behind her and focus on the possibilities that the Christmas season brings. They even find time to go on double dates with Lexie and Daniel, although they try not to spend too much time with those love birds since their over-the-top displays of affection tend to be nauseating.
The town of Sweetwater is decked out for the holiday season, from wreaths on the lamp posts to a large Christmas tree in the center of downtown. Sophie's gluten-free bakery just released a new gingerbread cookie that everyone's going wild over, and Marshmallow has donned a new Santa hat that Sophie's social media followers can't get enough of.
At the edge of town, an abandoned warehouse is transformed into Santa's Workshop, where local children can meet Santa and leave with a toy. This non-profit organization has been a staple in the town for many years and is also the home to the town's annual gingerbread town display. Just when everything seems jolly and full of cheer, something goes horribly wrong.
While Sophie is setting up her contribution to the gingerbread house display, a scream alerts her to the untimely death of an integral worker at Santa's Workshop. Now, she's in a race to find the killer before the Christmas spirit completely disappears from Sweetwater.
Meanwhile, her relationship with Andy suddenly hits a wall. Can Sophie move past her own insecurities and allow Andy into her heart? Or will she let her fears from the past control her relationships?
