One of the first female candidates to make it through the grueling training regimen required to become a Navy SEAL, Radko lives on the fringes now, drifting from place to place in a pickup truck, her military career cut short by an underserved bad conduct discharge. She’s totally unsure of what she’s going to do with the rest of her life, or even the rest of her day.
But that’s about to change.
As she’s nursing a hangover at a Nashville diner, she learns that her teenage cousin never made it home last night. Convinced that something terrible has happened and determined to get to the bottom of it, she exits the restaurant and makes a beeline for Florida, eventually hiring Granite, who suddenly has his hands full, to lead the investigation. Balancing his obligations as a clandestine operative with his obligations as a licensed PI, Granite somehow manages to make headway—and stay alive—in a variety of hostile settings and time periods.
Meanwhile, desperate to silence the tortured moans of agony he’s been hearing in his head since the age of ten, a medical doctor with a revoked license is conducting human clinical trials for an insanely ambitious treatment—an absolute gamechanger with the potential to help thousands.
And kill millions.
And with the historic first injection nearly ready to be administered, it’s up to Radko and Granite to stop it from happening.
2. A Single Red Alibi - Stetson Granite…
He’s a government operative from the future posing as a present-day PI, surreptitiously traveling to other time periods to keep tabs on a man who’s keeping tabs on a former army officer named Reacher. His overarching goal is to reunite with his wife and stepdaughter, who are currently stranded in another century.
