Furniture flipper and amateur sleuth, Sage Fletcher, is excited to introduce her best friend, Gabby to the strange and wonderful world of storage auctions.
The two friends weren’t exactly prepared for a cutthroat bidding war with a man who seemed to take the process way too seriously, and who apparently has unresolved anger issues.
The joke is on him, however, when Sage secures the winning bid and winds up with a unit that is teeming with furniture and other collectibles that she can use for her flipping business.
What Sage doesn’t know is that there were particular reasons that her particular unit was coveted, and that there are people who are willing to go to great lengths to get their hands on the contents.
When a scary situation strikes way too close to home, Sage has to table some of her current flipping plans so that she can investigate.
Can she unravel the mystery before it’s too late?
3. Mirrored in Murder - Sometimes those who take advantage of others…
Are stopped dead in their tracks.
Furniture flipper and amateur sleuth, Sage Fletcher, is worried about her best friend Gabby.
Just as Gabby is putting the finishing touches on the new addition to her salon, a full-service beauty shop springs up overnight on Main Street in downtown Cupston, Maine.
It seems that the owner of the new shop doesn’t have a kind word to say about Gabby around town, and worse than that, she’s undercutting Gabby’s prices so that she can steal her customers.
At her wits’ end, Gabby has an unfortunately very public disagreement with the newcomer, and the next morning, the woman is found dead, in front of a mirror in Gabby’s salon.
Sage runs to her best friend’s aid and dives into investigating the new salon owner so that she can yank poor Gabby off of the suspect list.
What she discovers is that there seemed to be much more than perms, cuts, and colors going on in the new salon. She’ll have to dig deeper in order to crack the case and clear her bestie’s name.
Can she do it in time?
4. Retreat from Murder - A weekend getaway is all in good fun…
Until a body is discovered.
Antique furniture flippers and amateur sleuths, Sage and Gabby are excited for their annual long weekend, together with their mothers, at The Moosehead Lighthouse Bed and Breakfast.
A snafu in their reservation means that they won’t be staying in the main inn, as planned, but will instead be sharing a bunk house at the base of the lighthouse with two sisters, Angie and Beverly Simpson.
When a tragedy at the bunkhouse leads police to view Sage’s mom, Sarah, as a primary suspect, Sage has no choice but to step in and find out who committed the murder, and why.
Can she crack the case and save their vacation, as well as securing her mother’s freedom?
