Silas is a man who lives by the adage “an eye for an eye,” and he is determined to take vengeance on all those who have wronged him. When he’s released from jail, Silas sets out on a fiery rampage, leaving a trail of death and destruction behind him. And in a cruel twist of fate, one of his victims is Bentley’s wife.
Left to pick up the pieces, Bentley focuses his efforts on rebuilding his life. As time passes and he begins to find healing, it seems that he might finally be able to reclaim a measure of the love and happiness that he lost at Silas Villard’s hands. But Bentley underestimates the depth of the arsonist’s loathing and the lengths the madman is willing to go to exact his revenge.
