Amanda Lee is a pseudonym Gayle is using for the new cozy mystery series featuring a heroine who owns an embroidery shop. The series is set on the Oregon Coast and features Marcy Singer, a spunky, thirty-something, entrepreneur who is handy with a needle.

Marcy Singer is the proud owner of the Seven-Year Stitch, an embroidery specialty shop in the sweet small town of Tallulah Falls, Oregon. Her best friend, Sadie, owns the coffee shop down the street, and her Irish wolfhound, Angus, is practically the shop's mascot. But trouble strikes when an elderly woman brings an antique piece of embroidery to Marcy ...and promptly dies of unnatural causes. Marcy is convinced that the sampler holds a clue to an even older crime ...
3. Thread Reckoning (2011)
St. Valentine's Day is approaching, and residents of Tallulah Falls, Oregon, are in a romantic frame of mind. One blushing bride has commissioned Marcy Singer to embellish her mother's vintage wedding gown with jewels for her Valentine's Day wedding. Marcy is delighted -- until she turns out to be a bridezilla-to-be. Then the future mother-in-law is found stabbed to death outside Marcy's shop on her way to deliver the jewels, and some of them are missing.
4. The Long Stitch Good Night (2012)
Tallulah Falls, Oregon, is gearing up for St. Patrick's Day, and Marcy Singer's specialty embroidery shop is no exception. But when a man is shot at a local pub, the luck of the Irish seems to have left two of the town's residents....
Although she's taken an interest in Irish embroidery, Marcy cannot help but abandon her needlecraft when handsome local brewer Todd finds himself accused of murder. During a St. Patrick's Day party at Todd's pub, the sound of a gunshot causes a commotion, leading the police to the back room, where Todd and his friend Blake are standing with the body of their former fraternity brother and a smoking gun.
Both Todd's and Blake's fingerprints are on the murder weapon, and neither is talking about what happened. Everyone's convinced that one of the men is guilty of murder, but Marcy is determined to prove that the culprit was someone else entirely. To do so she'll need to stitch together some luck from more than a few four-leaf clovers....

Marcy can't wait to see the new exhibit at the Tallulah Falls museum on antique tapestries and textiles, including beautiful kilim rugs. But her enthusiasm quickly turns to terror when, the day after the exhibition opens, she discovers a dead body behind her store, the Seven-Year Stitch, wrapped up in a most unusual fashion.
The victim appears to be a visiting art professor in town for the exhibit. Did someone decide to teach the professor a lesson, then attempt to sweep the evidence under the rug? Along with her boyfriend, Detective Ted Nash, Marcy must unravel an intricate tapestry of deception to find a desperate killer.
