Billy Rhinestone: And The Fateful Find (#1) When Billy and his best friend Max discover bizarre gemstones on a dead man during one of their boyish neighborhood adventures, their fates are forever changed. No sooner than the gems make contact with their flesh they begin to manifest magical characteristics.
As the boys experiment with their newfound powers, they unknowingly attract the attention of the worst enemies imaginable who will stop at nothing to get the stones back. Billy Rhinestone: And The Foreigner (#2) As a stoneholder now, Billy comes to realize that much like his favorite comic book heroes, his life is no longer his own. With the soul harrowing events of scout camp behind him, Billy is drug only deeper down the proverbial rabbit hole as Freedman requires his dedication and newfound powers in accomplishment of higher purposes.
As Billy is forced into situations that stretch even his new self to the limits, he comes face to face with the awful reality that he might not have what it takes. As his insatiable curiosity uncovers more secrets than answers, Billy must make a critical decision in whom to place his trust, knowing not only his own life, but those he loves most, hang in the balance.
Life for the few remaining stoneholders is a tumultuous one, but a new friend brings hope, companionship, and possibly more in a world where true friends are getting harder to come by . . . and keep. Will the remaining companions be able to keep themselves and their loved ones safe from the evil that’s closing in on them like a deadly vice?
