On their sixteenth birthday they are told that the fate of the world rests upon their shoulders, and on the very same night an assassin attempts to take Logan's life. This sparks the start of a devastating war between the Dark and Light, the two different factions of witches, and the two brothers must decide which side they really belong on...

“Uh, is this thing on?” Daniel Norris asked some faceless person behind the camera, and Harvey’s voice responded sarcastically, “No, I’m just sat here waiting for it to turn itself on. Of course it’s on, and I can’t be bothered starting again, so just go for it.”
Dan nodded and said, “Hi, I’m Daniel Norris, your father. It’s my seventeenth birthday today, and I guess it’s your sixteenth, so that’s weird…anyway, I’m going to tell you about yourselves and why I’m not with you.”
“Basically, you’re warlocks, and this may be hard to believe, but really you are…” Mum leaned forward and fast-forwarded that part, and she stopped it at a later section of the video. “Uh, I’m dying. I was bitten by a Myth, a creature that is made up of every kind of supernatural creature, and I’m now one of them. The reason why I’m dying is because the Light and Dark are on the brink of war. Seriously, if someone even breathes wrong then war will break out. And the Dark have the Myths on their side, and we all know that they will win with this extra man power, so that alone could be incentive for them to actually start the war. This means that the Myths have to be taken out to avoid all out war, and only a Myth can kill another Myth. You can see where this is going.
“I’m a Myth, so I’m going to try and kill all of the other Myths. Don’t worry, I don’t have to kill every Myth, only the first Myth ever made. If I kill him then all the rest will follow, including me.” He pauses and looks at the camera, tears in his eyes. “I love you both, and I wish that I didn’t have to do this, but I do. So, yeah, goodbye.”
And then the video switched to a bunch of teenagers that I immediately recognised as the responsible adults in my life.
“Hey, so we’re all here to explain this stuff to you,” said a younger version of Aunt Sally. “There’s an entire prophecy surrounding you two, just like there was a prophecy about your Aunt Alice and her ex-boyfriend, Matt.”
“And the prophecy is this,” said Uncle Raven.
Whether Light or Dark prevail
The Secondary Saviours will conceive
Two children across the veil
One will be Dark and one will be Light
And they will save us all
From the darkness of an eternal night
Equal, our races will stand proud and tall
But in the end one will follow Death’s call
