As more of her friends suffer and families are ripped apart, she strengthens her resolve to defeat Mercuriel, the last and most powerful of the three sisters. Aubrey and her friends go on a series of dangerous missions to gather support, testing Aubrey and her friends more deeply than she could have imagined. Aubrey has to find within herself the strength to do whatever needs to be done, as the war with the three sisters draws to a final, epic conclusion.
