1. Patriotic Mouse: Boston Tea Party Participant - Maximilian P. Mouse is not an adventurous mouse. But, his home is in trouble and Maximilian needs to do something! When Nathanial Chipmunk III offers a time machine as a way to go back and fix things, Maximilian jumps at the chance. Only, the time machine doesn't quite work. He has landed in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1773! Maximilian soon makes friends with Oliver, a member of the Sons of Liberty who is fighting for colonial rights. Maximilian even gets the opportunity to participate in the Boston Tea Party. Will Maximilian make it back to Tanner's Glen? Or will he be lost in history forever?

2. Yankee Mouse: Gettysburg Address Observer - Maximilian P. Mouse has had his first adventure in history, but now he needs to get back to his family. When he tries for a second time, the time machine once again fails. This time he has landed in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Maximilian isn't sure if Gettysburg is close to Tanner's Glen, but he does know 1863 is the wrong year! Taking shelter in the home of a young lawyer named David Wills, Maximilian witnesses Abraham Lincoln finalizing his monumental Gettysburg Address. He has just enough time to watch Lincoln deliver the speech before he must make another attempt to return home!

3. Head West, Young Mouse: Transcontinental Railroad Traveler - Abraham Lincoln's inspiring speech has made Maximilian even more determined to save his home. Again, he is disappointed when the time machine takes him to the wrong place and time. Maximilian now finds himself farther away than ever in Promontory Point, Utah. The year is 1869, and the time machine has landed in a caravan heading West. In one of the covered wagons, Maximilian meets a friendly prairie dog named Madeline. She teaches him to pan for gold and is with him to witness the driving of the golden spike of the Transcontinental Railroad. Maximilian is sad to leave his new friend, but he must get back to Tanner's Glen and save his home!

4. Mighty Maximilian: Samuel Clemens's Traveling Companion - Much to Maximilian's dismay, the time machine has missed again. He's landed on a paddleboat that is slowly making its way down the mighty Mississippi River. Luckily, Maximilian makes a new friend Bogart T. Bullfrog! Maximilian discovers it is 1883 and this is the last voyage of the Mississippi Belle. While Bogie is giving Maximilian a tour and teaching him about Cajun life, a mysterious man in white catches Maximilian's eye. Maximilian discovers the man is Samuel Clemens--a gifted writer who uses the pen name Mark Twain. Just before testing the time machine once more, Maximilian witnesses Clemens finalizing his book The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.

5. Brave New Mouse: Ellis Island Approved Immigrant - Max was hoping the fifth time would be the charm and he would land at home in 2013. Unfortunately, the time machine still isn't working! Maximilian finds himself on the deck of a new ship in the year 1920. This one is also full of passengers, but these people are immigrants making their way to Ellis Island and a new life in New York City. Maximilian is amazed by the stories of the immigrants and entranced by the beauty of the Statue of Liberty welcoming them to their new home. But, he is concerned about a new crack in the time machine's shell. Will he ever get home to help his family save Tanner's Glen?

6. Homeward Bound: Civil Rights Mouse Leader - Maximilian P. Mouse has become quite the time traveler. He is happy to learn he is getting closer to the right time period--he has landed in 1963! Maximilian and his new friend Marian Moleana witness the famous "I Have a Dream" speech of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The new civil rights mouse leader is ready to save his home. Maximilian decides he must try again. Luckily, his final attempt is a success! Now Maximilian uses all of the lessons he learned during his journey to devise a plan. Can he save Tanner's Glen and his family's home?
